Siem Reap: Many boats on the banks of the Siem Reap River and ready to enjoy the lovely views along the Siem Reap River during the 2023 New Year's celebration.

Mr. Seng Vichet, leader of UYFC's boat team, confirmed during the 7 days, from December 25, 2022, to January 1, 2023, the province will organize many types of boats (swan boats and canoes) to celebrate the upcoming 2023 new year.

He said that the boats are taken from the "Tonle Sap Chong Kneas" and "Kampong Phlok" tourist areas to serve tourists visiting Siem Reap at the end of the year.

According to Mr. Seng Vichet, tourists can take a boat trip along the Siem Reap River from the "Preah Reach Damnak" stone bridge to the "Wat Damnak" stone bridge.

During these 7 days, Siem Reap will also have many other entertainment programs, food exhibitions and concerts. The purpose of organizing the year-end event in Siem Reap is to attract national and international tourists to enjoy, and understand the Cambodian people's culture and traditions, and significantly to help the local economy.

The UYFC in Siem Reap encouraged people to come and visit the event. Apart from Siem Reap, other provinces are also preparing to receive tourists for the new year.

At the end of the third week of December, the province of Siem Reap had over 76,000 tourists, including 70,000 nationals and over 6,000 internationals.
